Two IDF reservists wounded by explosive during mission in Samaria - one severely
Military confirms soldiers injured in blast near the village of Beita; forces currently searching for attackers.

Two reservists from the 9221st Battalion of the Ephraim Brigade were wounded yesterday (Wednesday), one severely, by an explosive device during an operational mission near the village of Beita, in the area of the Samaria Regional Brigade.
According to the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, the soldiers were evacuated to a hospital for emergency treatment, and their families have been informed.
In response, IDF forces swiftly encircled Beita and are actively searching for those responsible for the attack. The incident comes amid a broader uptick in counterterrorism operations across Judea and Samaria this week.
Earlier in the week, Israeli security forces carried out raids throughout the region, seizing three firearms, including an M-16 rifle, along with tens of thousands of shekels in suspected terrorist funds. A number of suspects were arrested, including three individuals from Jenin involved in financial transfers to terror groups. In Aqabat Jabr, an Uzi submachine gun was discovered and one suspect was apprehended.
All detainees have been handed over to the Israel Police and Shin Bet (ISA) for further questioning, while the confiscated weapons are undergoing additional forensic analysis.
