With just one week remaining until candidate lists close for Israel's upcoming Knesset elections, Yisrael Beiteinu chairman Avigdor Liberman has issued an urgent appeal to opposition party leaders, calling for immediate consolidation to prevent vote wastage.
Liberman framed his message as a matter of political responsibility. "We're in the final stretch before the lists are sealed," he said, directing his words to what he termed "the serving bloc", referring to parties opposing the current government. He specifically urged leaders to reach out to smaller parties headed by Chili Tropper, Gilad Erdan, and Benny Gantz to explore merger possibilities that would prevent votes from being scattered across multiple lists.
