The investigation into the former MAG, her deputy, and the former Chief Military Prosecutor appears to be entering a new procedural phase. According to a report by Lee Ayesh on i24News, the police filed a request this morning, with the consent of the parties involved, to extend the seizure of items confiscated from the central suspects for an additional 180 days.
What was Seized?
Court documents provide a rare glimpse into the materials gathered during the investigation's peak. The items currently held by police include:
* From the former MAG (Tomer-Yerushalmi): Documents seized directly from her bedroom and her office, an Apple Watch, and an iPhone 16 Pro Max.
* From Deputy Gal Asael: An iPhone 15 Pro Max, notebooks from the Operations Directorate, and a folder labeled "Sde Teiman," referencing the controversial detention facility.
* From Matan Solomesh: A mobile device.
Despite the investigation technically having concluded some time ago, the police justified the request for an additional six months of control over the seized property by stating that the case remains an "extraordinarily complex and sensitive investigation."
