Autopsies conducted overnight have revealed new information about the six Israeli hostages whose bodies were recovered yesterday.

Hersh Goldberg Polin, Eden Yerushalmi, Uri Danino, Almog Sarusi, Carmel Gat, and Alex Lobanov all had gunshot wounds to the head and other parts of their bodies.

The examinations also showed signs of severe neglect. One hostage had marks indicating they had been tied up, but there was no evidence of torture on any of the bodies. However, the condition of their bodies suggested long-term lack of basic hygiene.

Forensic experts also noted indications of injuries sustained during the initial kidnapping that appeared to have been treated.
