Shin Bet: Three suspects detained for firing flares at Prime Minister's House 

Court imposes gag order on details of joint Shin Bet -police investigation; Among the three suspects arrested is a senior reserve officer.

As part of the joint investigation by the Shin Bet and the police into the firing of flares at the Prime Minister's residence in Caesarea, it was permitted for publication that tonight (between Saturday and Sunday) three suspects were arrested for involvement in the incident.

The three were taken for joint interrogation by the Shin Bet and the Lahav 433 police unit. Among the three suspects arrested is a senior reserve officer who is a regular at the protests against the Prime Minister.

A statement from the authorities said: "Further details will be provided later as the investigation progresses. The court ordered a gag order on the details of the investigation and the identity of the suspects for 30 days in order to prevent disruption or harm to the investigation."

A joint Shin Bet-police statement said last night: "At approximately 7:30 p.m., two flares were fired near the Prime Minister's residence in Caesarea and landed in the yard of the house. Police and ISA forces are on the scene. The prime minister and his family were not at home at the time of the incident."

"As a result, a joint investigation was opened by the Israel Security Agency and the Israel Police. This is a serious incident that constitutes a dangerous escalation, and accordingly, the necessary investigative actions will be taken."
