Netanyahu Promises Imminent Hostage Rescue: Dozens Expected to Return Soon
In a speech he gave during a Knesset discussion of the hostages, Prime Minister Netanyahu discussed his government's accomplishments.

At a 40-signature discussion in the Knesset regarding the hostages, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said today that "I believe we will bring dozens more hostages in the near future."
During his speech, Netanyahu also stressed how he stood up repeatedly to President Biden, who warned him against entering into additional parts of the Gaza Strip after the initial attack on Gaza City - including Khan Yunis and Rafah.
Netanyahu also said that when Israel decided to eliminate Hassan Nasrallah as well as when they decided to launch a ground offensive into Lebanon, "there were those" that wanted to inform America first - heavily implying this was former Defense Minister Gallant - but Netanyahu refused.
Regarding Hezbollah, Netanyahu said that Israel's demands include pushing the terrorist organization beyond the Litani and that "the most important thing is not the paper. We will have to engage in systematic action. It's the ability not only to prevent an attack but to prevent a buildup."
The Prime Minister also addressed the issue of Iran and its nuclear program, saying that in two strikes launched against Iran, Israel destroyed all of Iran's S-300 anti-aircraft batteries, leaving it exposed to further strikes, and that "we hit a component related to the Iranian nuclear program. If the nuclear threat is not destroyed, we haven't done anything."
