Air Force Commander Tomer Bar: Yemen strike a "sign of what we can do - and we can do much more"

Air Force commander Tomer Bar addressed an audience of soldiers in the Air Force today (Thursday), discussing the current war with the Houthis from the perspective of the Air Force.

Bar began by discussing and praising the efforts of the Air Force's anti-missile force, which has fought since the beginning of the war to defend Israel's airspace not only from Houthi ballistic missiles and drones but also from Hamas and Hezbollah's much larger arsenal of both - and at closer range.

Bar said that the effort to stop all the projectiles is worthy but "not enough" in the face of the enemy Israel faces in Yemen. The "solution, ultimately, is to reach" the enemy.

Addressing "the fourth attack on Yemen," he said that "we saw a tangible example now of what we are capable of - and we can do much more."
