So far, more than 210 terror suspects have been arrested during anti-terror operations in northern Samaria. Furthermore, over 60 terrorists were eliminated and over 30 terrorist infrastructures were destroyed, including buildings. 85 weapons were confiscated, and 14 air strikes were conducted.

Yesterday (Wednesday), forces of the Maglan special forces unit eliminated three terrorists in a close encounter in the Nur a-Shams area.

The IDF said that it and the defense forces will continue to work to eliminate terrorism throughout Judea and Samaria in order to ensure the safety of Israel's residents.

Meanwhile, in the south, the IDF has been preparing to defend itself and Israel against possible terrorist incursions by Hamas whether inside the Gaza Strip or against Israeli territory.

Yesterday, the IDF prepared for a possible massive swarm attack from the northern Gaza Strip into Israeli territory, called the "Philistine Horseman" in IDF parlance. The IDF practiced a number of scenarios, including securing proper coordination from the air force, in order to be prepared for anything Hamas might try.

Although the IDF believes the hostage deal will continue to operate as planned, it is drafting operational plans for war in the Gaza Strip if the deal actually collapses.

President Donald Trump's threat to let "all hell" break loose if "all the hostages" are not released by Saturday, has led to a flurry of activity and efforts by Egyptian and Qatari mediators to work with Hamas to ensure that the deal does not collapse and war renewed.

Hamas has reportedly agreed to resume the hostage deal and claims that Israel has given in to all its demands regarding humanitarian aid and equipment when it first threatened to suspend the deal. The Prime Minister's Office denies this.
