The Conflict Continues
IDF strikes terrorist threatening IDF forces in Gaza Strip
The IDF said that the terrorist was using observational means against IDF forces, leading to a strike to remove the threat.

The IDF launched a strike against a terrorist deploying observation means against IDF forces in the southern Gaza Strip earlier today (Tuesday).
Despite the continuation of an effective ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the IDF continues to launch strikes against any terrorists spotted preparing attacks, collecting information, or preparing ambushes for IDF troops throughout the Gaza Strip.
The new IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir has repeatedly taken a harder line regarding the IDF's future plans in the Gaza Strip if the hostage deal falls apart, promising a "year of battles" in 2025 to his troops.
Following President Donald Trump's threat to unleash "Hell" if all the hostages are not returned, Israel is planning a much more intense war in the Gaza Strip if the hostage negotiations collapse.
Having already cut off all humanitarian aid and electricity, water supply is reportedly coming next. Israel will thus no longer be forced to resupply Hamas effectively while fighting it, which the Biden administration forced it to do out of concern for the Gazan civilians.
A renewed war would include the retaking of positions abandoned by the IDF following the first phase of the hostage deal, including the Netzarim corridor bisecting the Gaza Strip. It would also possibly include a clearing out of Gazan civilians in the northern Strip in order to eliminate the remaining Hamas forces there.
