Peak Preparedness: Israel Raises Alert Level Fearing Houthi Missile Attack
The IDF Air Force and missile defense is on alert, in expectation of a threatened Houthi drone and missile bombardment due to the cessation of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.

Israel is at peak preparedness for potential drone and ballistic missile launches from Yemen. The Air Force has raised its alert level and reinforced its air defense system. Here are all the details:
The Air Force has increased its state of alert and strengthened its air defense array, including deploying fighter jets to protect Israeli airspace due to concerns about potential drone and ballistic missile launches from Yemen, as reported today (Tuesday) by Kan 11.
As a reminder, over the weekend, the Houthi leader threatened to resume attacks on international shipping routes if Israel does not allow humanitarian aid into Gaza. Israel is taking no risks and raising its alert level, as the Houthis are considered unpredictable.
Additionally, it was reported that the Houthis in Yemen have also raised their alert level, fearing attacks against them. Earlier today, the Saudi Al-Arabiya channel reported from its sources about an attack on Houthi radar installations near the port of Al-Hudaydah in Yemen. The attack is apparently being carried out by the United States and comes several days after the Houthis threatened to target Israeli and US maritime targets.
As mentioned, the Houthi leader, Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, said yesterday that "the organization stands by its promise regarding the deadline for bringing aid into the Gaza Strip, and forces are prepared for activity." He added that "military steps will begin immediately."
Houthi forces have repeatedly threatened to resume the war even after the ceasefire began in the south due to the hostage deal, with Houthi leaders stating that they are in constant contact with Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad and are coordinating their actions with them.
The Houthis even threatened to restart the war with Israel over IDF operations against terrorist groups in Judea and Samaria, especially northern Samaria, specifically the Jenin and Tulkarm area.
