Greta Thunberg's ship is now on ice, thanks to the IDF | WATCH

The IDF has taken over the activist ship seeking to break the Gaza blockade and will now take it to Ashdod.

After much publicity and a great deal of controversy, the IDF has seized control of the Greta Thunberg ship headed to Gaza to break the blockade of the Strip. The seizure was conducted by IDF special forces in the early morning (Monday).

Before taking over the ship, the Shayetet sent the crew a message that delivering humanitarian aid could be done via established channels through the port of Ashdod:

According to Channel 12 reporter Nitzan Shapira, neither side suffered casualties. The authorities are currently discussing what to do with the ship, and they will likely bring it to Israel soon.
