In a joint statement from the Shin Bet and Police spokespersons, it was reported that the Central Unit of Tel Aviv District Police and the General Security Service continue investigating the terrorist attack in Bat Yam and Holon, during which 4 explosive devices were planted on buses.

Today, a serious indictment was filed against a Nablus resident, the brother of the terrorist who planted the devices on buses. In the coming days, indictments will be filed against 3 others for involvement in the terror attack.

During the joint investigation, police and Shin Bet investigators succeeded in locating the cell members who planned and carried out the attack, including the defendant - the terrorist's brother - who helped him hide after the attack and assisted in preparing the explosive devices that detonated.

Meanwhile, a serious indictment was filed today (Tuesday) by the Military Prosecution against a Nablus resident - the brother of the terrorist suspected of planting the explosive devices that exploded on buses in Bat Yam about two months ago.

According to the indictment, the defendant's assistance included: "The defendant removed the cover of one of the clocks and the cables connected to the light inside it. Afterward, the defendant connected the cables to the device that activates the alarm clock (of the explosive device)..." The indictment further revealed that "at the beginning of February 2025, the defendant purchased about 100 nails and two boxes of nail gun nails...for the purpose of inserting them into the explosive device to increase its impact."

Additionally, other suspects from Nablus were arrested by the Shin Bet who were part of the planning and execution of the attack. Some were involved in preparing the explosive devices and helping the terrorist escape from security forces in the territories, with each having a defined role.

As stated, today an indictment was filed against the terrorist's brother, a Nablus resident in his 30s, in the Military Court in Samaria for acts of terrorism, for assisting the terrorist in preparing the explosive devices and escaping security forces.

Tomorrow, a serious indictment will be filed in the Military Court in Samaria against another suspect, a Nablus resident in his 30s, for acts of terrorism, for helping the terrorist who fled to the territories hide from security forces and for being involved in planning the attack.

On Thursday, serious indictments will be filed in the Military Court against 2 additional suspects, Nablus residents in their 30s, for acts of terrorism, for being involved in planning the attack, preparing the explosive devices, and helping the terrorist escape and hide from security forces.

Recall that three buses exploded a little over two months ago simultaneously - in three different parking lots in Bat Yam and Holon. The buses were empty and there were no reported casualties in the incident. Concurrently, unexploded devices were found on two additional buses - at the Wolfson Junction and at Yamit 2000. According to reports, one of the devices had "Revenge from Tulkarem" written on it.
