The IDF announced Sunday evening that it will conduct a military training exercise Monday morning in the Dead Sea hotel area, which falls within the Tamar and Megilot regional councils.
During the exercise, residents and hotel guests in the area will notice significant movement of security forces and military vehicles, and will hear gunfire and the sound of explosions, the IDF said.
The IDF emphasized that the drill was planned in advance as part of the annual training program for 2026, and that there is no cause for concern about a security incident.
