Letter to Eisenkot, Bennett and Liberman

Bereaved families warn opposition leaders

Families who lost loved ones in terror attacks issue urgent call to opposition bloc heads, warning against any reliance on Arab parties in forming a government

Eisenkot

Nearly one hundred bereaved families from the Bochrim BaChaim (Choosing Life) forum have sent an urgent appeal to the heads of the opposition bloc, calling on them not to cooperate with or sit alongside the Arab parties in the Knesset. In a letter signed by dozens of families, they warned: "You are forbidden to form a government with the help of those who supported the murder of our loved ones. We will not forgive you!"

The families issued their call directly to the leaders of the opposition camp, particularly Gadi Eisenkot, Naftali Bennett and Avigdor Liberman, opposing any joint government arrangement or reliance on the Arab parties in the Knesset. The letter, titled "The voice of our children's blood cries out to us from the ground!", is addressed to the heads of the opposition parties.

The initial appeal was signed by 96 family members who lost loved ones in terror attacks. The Bochrim BaChaim forum said the effort is expanding rapidly, with additional families continuing to add their signatures as the message is prepared for direct delivery to the party leaders.

A statement from the Bochrim BaChaim forum said: "Behind every name on this letter stands an entire world that was destroyed. We are calling on Gadi Eisenkot, Naftali Bennett, Avigdor Liberman and all the heads of the Zionist parties: there are red lines that must not be crossed even on the path to forming a government. Do not lend a hand to forming a government that will rely on those who supported the murder of our loved ones. The voice of our loved ones' blood cries out from the ground, whoever chooses to cross this red line must know that the bereaved families will not be silent and will not forgive."
