BREAKING: British Authorities Report Cargo Ship Attacked Off Oman
This is a developing story.

UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has confirmed a fresh attack on a bulk carrier sailing off the coast of Oman.
The vessel was hit by two unidentified projectiles approximately 112 nautical miles southeast of Ras Al Hadd. The strike caused a fire to break out onboard.
A Pakistan Navy vessel immediately responded to the distress call, provided assistance to the crew, and helped bring the situation under control.
UKMTO has now closed the incident.
No details have been released yet on the ship’s name, flag, or any casualties. Authorities are investigating.
This is the latest in a wave of maritime incidents in the Gulf region, coming as tensions remain high following the new U.S. naval blockade in the nearby Strait of Hormuz.
Vessels transiting the area have been urged to exercise extreme caution and report any suspicious activity.
More updates as they come in.
