In a fiery segment on her SiriusXM show, veteran conservative commentator Megyn Kelly unleashed a pointed critique of longtime acquaintance Ben Shapiro, accusing him of systematically sidelining figures in the conservative movement who don't align with his views.

The outburst comes amid escalating tensions between Shapiro and British broadcaster Piers Morgan, rooted in heated debates over Israel's war in Gaza and accusations of platforming controversial guests.Kelly, 55, didn't hold back, framing Shapiro's recent attacks on Morgan as part of a broader pattern. "It's very sad to me as somebody who's known Ben forever and helped make Ben, 100% he became a star on my show, The Kelly File," she said on Wednesday's episode of The Megyn Kelly Show.

She highlighted their 15-year friendship, which soured after Shapiro publicly criticized her last year for not condemning Candace Owens' attacks on Turning Point USA and its co-founder Charlie Kirk's widow, Erika.

The immediate spark? Shapiro, co-founder of The Daily Wire, labeled Morgan the "Jerry Springer of political television" for hosting comedian Dave Smith—whom Shapiro has called antisemitic—on a panel discussing the Israel-Gaza conflict.

Shapiro accused Morgan of platforming "actual Nazis" like white supremacist Nick Fuentes in the past, and revealed he's refused invitations to appear on Morgan's Uncensored show since the broadcaster grew critical of Israel's handling of the war.

Morgan fired back, calling Shapiro a "propagandist" unwilling to engage in open debate.

Kelly declared herself "completely on Team Piers," dismissing Shapiro's complaints as "totally disingenuous."

She argued Morgan's format—featuring diverse panels with pro- and anti-Israel voices—is exactly what debate shows should do, not a mockery. "Now we have to get rid of Piers Morgan? Obviously, in Ben’s view, Tucker had to go. Clearly, even though he helped build Candace, she had to go. Then I had to go even though I’ve had a 15-year friendship with the guy," Kelly continued.

"How many people must be culled from the conservative movement in order to make Ben Shapiro happy? This is ridiculous."This isn't the first rift in conservative circles tied to Israel. Shapiro parted ways with Owens in November 2025 after she accused him of prioritizing Israel over America, amid her increasingly vocal criticism of U.S. support for the Jewish state.

He also clashed with Tucker Carlson for interviewing Fuentes and Palestinian figures skeptical of Israel.

Kelly, who has navigated her own share of media battles—from her Fox News days to clashes with Donald Trump—positioned herself as a defender of free discourse, urging an end to what she sees as Shapiro's "policing" of guests and opinions.

Shapiro hasn't directly responded to Kelly's latest remarks, but the feud has lit up social media, with X users debating loyalty, antisemitism, and the future of conservative unity.
