American Aid has Arrived: A Shipment of Jeeps has been Delivered to the IDF
U.S. Support: The Ministry of Defense announced today (Thursday) that an American cargo plane has arrived in Israel with the first shipment of armored jeeps for the IDF. The jeeps are currently being transferred to the IDF to replace vehicles that were damaged during the war.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the arrival of the vehicles at Ben Gurion Airport is part of a wide-scale procurement operation led by the Director of Procurement (Manhar) and the Procurement Mission in New York (Mashan). The operation aims to increase the IDF's vehicle fleet for various wartime scenarios. Hundreds of vehicles have already been supplied to the IDF immediately, and hundreds of additional vehicles are on their way to the country.
The Director-General of the Ministry of Defense, Major General (Res.) Eyal Zamir, has so far signed procurement contracts both domestically and internationally for vehicles and heavy equipment totaling over 400 million shekels. The procurement is carried out according to the IDF's requirements and includes a variety of specialized vehicles such as armored ambulances, armored operational vehicles, tactical trucks, and engineering mechanical equipment.
