Qatar Pressuring Hamas to Free Captives, Even Without Israeli Concessions

Qatari mediators are pressuring Hamas to speed up the pace of releasing the captives in Gaza, according to a report this morning (Wednesday) by Reuters. This pressure comes after only 4 of the 222 people taken captive on October 7 have been freed so far.

According to the report, the Qatari mediators are calling on Hamas to free more hostages and include women and children among them. The report also said that the Qataris are pushing the terror organization to release the hostages without expecting concessions from Israel.
