The day after: The Russian Ministry of the Interior announced this morning (Monday) that 60 suspects were arrested who took part in the riots that took place last night at the airport in Dagestan, in which hundreds of rioters searched for Israeli passengers on a plane that landed there.
According to the announcement of the Russian ministry, the police identified 150 people who took a prominent part in the riots. "The authorities are now working to identify all those involved," it said. "Currently the airport is under the full control of the law enforcement authorities."
The Governor of the Republic of Dagestan, Sergey Melikov, also condemned the airport riots. He stated, "The riots are a blatant violation of the law, even when citizens identify with the suffering of the victims of the actions of politicians and evildoers and pray for peace in Palestine." According to him, "There is no courage in the waiting of a crowd for helpless people, who have not done anything illegal."
