World-famous artist Kanye West, who has stirred up much recent controversy with a series of antisemitic remarks, published a post today (Tuesday) on his Instagram account in Hebrew and presumably addressed to Israelis, apologizing for his actions and promising to do better in the future.

The post reads:

"I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unplanned outburst caused by my words or my actions. It was not my intent to harm or cause indignity, and I greatly regret any pain I may have caused. I am committed to start with myself and learn from this experience in order to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future. Your forgiveness is important to me, and I am committed to fixing things and promoting unity."
