The British royal palace announced that King Charles III, 75, was diagnosed with an as yet undisclosed type of cancer while undergoing a procedure for his enlarged prostate, according to the BBC.

The palace reported that the king was undergoing "regular treatments" and looks forward to fully returning to public life.

King Charles had knowingly agreed to let the fact of his prostate procedure be made public so more men would get theirs checked.
