Candace Owens has been banned from entering Australia due to her history of antisemitic, anti-Muslim, and transphobic remarks, as reported by the Sydney Morning Herald on Sunday morning.

Tony Burke, the Immigration Minister, announced that Owens' visa has been cancelled, preventing her from traveling to the country for her planned tour.

“From downplaying the impact of the Holocaust with comments about [German SS officer Josef] Mengele to claims that Muslims started slavery, Candace Owens has the ability to incite discord in almost every direction,” Burke stated. “Australia’s national interest is best served when Candace Owens is somewhere else.”

Jewish groups had previously called for her visa cancellation in August, and Burke commented to the Sydney Morning Herald, “Tickets to these events are selling for $100. I hope she has a good refund policy.”
