No more intelligence for Biden
Shock Move: Trump Strips Biden of Security Clearance in Unprecedented Decision
In a dramatic move, President Donald Trump has revoked Joe Biden’s access to the nation’s top intelligence after Biden made a similar decision in 2021. Trump’s action, widely viewed as political payback, comes as part of a series of moves targeting former officials who he believes have crossed him.

Trump announced the decision on Truth Social after arriving at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida for the weekend. In his post, he declared that there was "no need" for Biden to continue receiving classified information. He emphasized that he was revoking Biden’s security clearances and halting his daily intelligence briefings. Trump’s post also referenced a previous incident in 2021, when Biden ordered the Intelligence Community (IC) to stop providing Trump with briefings following the January 6 Capitol attack. At that time, Biden cited Trump’s involvement in the riot and his attempts to overturn the 2020 election results as justification for the decision.
Trump, known for his bold statements and flair for drama, channeled his old reality TV catchphrase, ending his message with, "JOE, YOU’RE FIRED!" The move is seen as a direct retort to Biden’s earlier action, continuing the tension between the two men.
The 2021 decision to cut off Trump’s access to classified intelligence was a sharp departure from the norm. Traditionally, former presidents continue to receive intelligence briefings as a courtesy, but Biden's administration argued that Trump's actions following the Capitol riot made him unfit to receive such sensitive information.
Trump’s revocation of Biden’s clearance is not an isolated incident. It follows a string of similar moves against those he perceives as opponents or critics. This includes stripping security protections from officials such as Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and former National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. Trump has also targeted state officials like New York Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who have brought legal challenges against him.
Critics argue that Trump’s actions are part of an ongoing effort to retaliate against those who have investigated or challenged him, but it’s clear that the political tension between the two men remains far from over.
