CANNCELED! Jimmy Kimmel's Late-Night Show
Jimmy Kimmel Claimed Charlie Kirk's Murderer was MAGA - And Got Fired
Disney-owned ABC yanks Jimmy Kimmel off the air indefinitely after backlash over his monologue on Charlie Kirk’s murder, fueling a nationwide debate on free speech and political censorship.

A political firestorm erupted when Disney-owned ABC announced it is pulling its popular late-night program Jimmy Kimmel Live! “indefinitely.”
The decision follows intense backlash over Kimmel’s opening monologue earlier this week, in which he addressed the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA.
Kimmel criticized so-called attempts by Trump supporters to politicize the killing, saying: “We’ve reached a new low when the MAGA crowd does everything they can to score political points off this tragedy.” He also mocked President Donald Trump’s public reaction, remarking: “That’s not how a grown man mourns the murder of a friend. That’s how a child mourns the loss of a goldfish.”
The comments ignited outrage among conservatives and drew attention from regulators. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Brendan Carr said he is weighing possible action against ABC and Disney. Shortly after, Nexstar Media Group, which owns more than 200 local ABC affiliates, announced it would immediately stop airing the show.
Trump celebrated the cancellation on Truth Social: “Good news for America! Jimmy Kimmel’s low-rated show is canceled! Congrats to ABC for finally having the courage to do what should have been done long ago. Kimmel has zero talent and ratings worse than Colbert, if that’s even possible.” He went on to mock rival hosts Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers as “complete losers” on NBC.
In a statement, ABC confirmed: “Jimmy Kimmel Live! will be removed from the broadcast schedule indefinitely.” Sources say the decision was finalized after the controversy escalated beyond politics to include pressure from federal regulators.
Sinclair said that its ABC stations will not reinstate "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" until formal discussions with ABC occur, demanding Jimmy Kimmel to apologize directly to the Charlie Kirk family and donate to them and Turning Point USA. (Open Source Intel)
