A fragmentation grenade was thrown last night (Sunday) at 11:00 PM toward the home of Israeli football legend and former sporting director of the Israel national team, Yossi Benayoun. The grenade was hurled while Benayoun was at home with his family.
Israel Police released a statement: "A report was received at the police hotline last night regarding an explosion heard outside a residence on Jabotinsky Street in Ramat Hasharon. Officers from the Glilot station arrived at the scene and launched an investigation, collecting evidence and findings. The explosion caused damage to the house’s gate. There were no casualties. The incident is believed to be criminally motivated."
