Niv Sultan, the fierce and fabulous star of the global hit series "Tehran," has shared a raw, emotional tribute to Dana Eden, the powerhouse producer who catapulted her career, and the show, to international stardom. Eden, a true force of nature in Israeli TV, passed away suddenly.

Niv reveleaed that behind the glamorous spy thriller that snagged a historic International Emmy and landed on Apple TV, there was a casting battle royale. Sultan revealed in her heartfelt post that Eden was her ultimate champion, pushing back against skeptical directors and network execs who weren't sold on her. "In my two biggest roles over the past decade of acting, you fought for me against directors and channel heads who weren't thrilled at all," Sultan wrote. "Somehow, you saw something in me. You signed off on my name, convinced them, promised it'd pay off. 'I know a star when I see one,' you said."

Eden's wins didn't just launch "Tehran"; they shattered glass ceilings and reshaped Sultan's life. "To my luck, you won both times, and you changed my life," Sultan added with gratitude.

Dana Eden wasn't just a producer; she was a whirlwind of passion, smarts, and unfiltered authenticity. Sultan painted her as the woman who "didn't take no for an answer," with a brilliant mind and endless drive.

From those grueling "Tehran" shoots, Sultan reminisced about the magic moments post-"cut," scanning for Eden's eyes behind massive headphones on the monitor. "I'm already missing that moment after the 'cut,' when you're sitting in front of the monitor with headphones bigger than your head. I look for your eyes to know how it was, and you look at me and smile, nodding with your whole body and I know you're really thrilled, that I did good."

But the pain runs deeper: Eden had promised more collaborations. "For all my series, I'll take you, Nivush," she told Sultan recently. "What a miss for all of us that there won't be more like that. You'll be missed here, but for real."

As the Israeli cultural scene processes this shock, Eden's impact echoes far beyond: She turned a local spy saga into a worldwide phenomenon, proving Israeli talent can conquer the globe. Rest in peace, Dana.
