Greta's "selfie yacht" meets its end | WATCH

The Madleen ship carrying pro-Palestinian "celebrities" is safely making its way to the shores of Israel; The passengers were caught polluting the sea as they threw what seem to be electronic devices overboard.

The Israeli Navy peacefully took control of the "Madleen", a celebrity flotilla attempting to breach Israel’s legal maritime blockade of Gaza. The ship is on its way to the port of Ashdod and all the activists were detained.

The Israeli Navy communicated with the "selfie yacht" using an international civilian communication system, while the Israeli Navy ordered the "selfie yacht" to change its course due to its approach to a restricted area. The terrorist-supporting activists, as expected, did not comply and were arrested.

Pro-Palestinian activist Greta Thunberg from Sweden released a pre-recorded statement asking the Swedish government to act for her release. Other activists who were detained acted in a similar manner.

Before the takeover, the activists reported that they were under attack in international waters, and that drones were surrounding the ship, spraying it with an unidentified white substance. The entire event was broadcast live on Al Jazeera until the communication was cut off.

Greta and her fellow travelers were taped throwing electronic devices into the sea before IDF soldiers took control of the ship. A surprising move on Greta's part given her concern for not polluting the seas.

The Foreign Ministry stated that the celebrities selfie yacht is making its way safely to the shores of Israel. The passengers are expected to return to their home countries.

The statement read: "While Greta and others attempted to carry out a media provocation with the sole aim of gaining publicity - which included less than a single aid truck - more than 1,200 aid trucks have entered Gaza from Israel in the past two weeks, and additionally, the humanitarian fund for Gaza has distributed nearly 11 million meals directly to civilians in Gaza. There are ways to deliver aid to the Gaza Strip - they do not include Instagram selfies. The minuscule amount of aid that was on the yacht and not consumed by the 'celebrities' will be transferred to Gaza through legitimate humanitarian channels."

"The maritime area of Gaza remains an active conflict zone, and Hamas has previously exploited sea routes for terrorist attacks, including the massacre on October 7. Unauthorized attempts to breach the blockade are dangerous, illegal, and undermine ongoing humanitarian efforts. We call on all parties to act responsibly and to channel humanitarian aid through legitimate and coordinated mechanisms, not through provocations," the statement concluded.

Yesterday, Defense Minister Israel Katz made it clear that the flotilla will not reach Gaza. "I instructed to take all necessary measures to that end. The State of Israel will not allow anyone to violate the maritime blockade on Gaza, which is primarily aimed at preventing the transfer of weapons to Hamas. To the antisemitic Greta and her Hamas propaganda-supporting friends – I say clearly: you better turn back – because you will not reach Gaza. Israel will act against any attempt to break the blockade or assist terrorist organizations – at sea, in the air, and on land."

The Defense Minister, Israel Katz, also instructed the IDF to show the passengers of the flotilla the horrifying video of the massacre on October 7: "It is fitting that the antisemitic Greta and her Hamas-supporting friends see exactly who the terrorist organization Hamas is that they came to support and for whom they are acting, what atrocities they committed against women, the elderly, and children, and against whom Israel is fighting for its defense."
