Eisenkot: Polls show distrust in Netanyahu

Yashar party leader Gadi Eisenkot responds to initial exit polls, says he will act immediately to replace Netanyahu's government and form a Zionist conscription government

Minutes after exit polls were published for the 26th Knesset elections, Yashar party chairman Gadi Eisenkot responded Tuesday to the initial results and said he would act to replace Netanyahu's government.

"The initial exit poll results point to total distrust in Netanyahu and the October 7th government, by the Zionist majority and by the majority of Israel's citizens," Eisenkot said. "If these are the final results, this is a victory for the national-Zionist majority in Israel."

Though Likud emerged as the largest party in all the exit polls, Eisenkot said he would "act immediately to implement the people's decision, to replace Netanyahu's government and to establish a Zionist conscription government, as soon as possible."
