Huge Cache Of Weapons Discovered
IDF busts massive weapons smuggling network in Nablus, hundreds of arms seized
Israeli security forces uncovered and dismantled a major weapons trafficking network in Nablus, arresting a suspect and seizing hundreds of illegal tactical items. The operation is part of ongoing efforts to curb arms smuggling that threatens regional security.

Israeli security forces successfully thwarted a significant weapons trafficking operation in the city of Nablus (Shechem) overnight Sunday. The joint operation, conducted by Israel Defense Forces (IDF) troops and Border Police officers in the Samaria Regional Brigade sector, led to the arrest of a suspect accused of trafficking a large cache of weapons and tactical equipment.
During the operation, forces raided a building in which the suspect was located and uncovered hundreds of items of tactical gear and operational equipment intended for illegal sale. Among the confiscated materials were knives, electric stun guns, airsoft guns, pepper spray canisters, and other weapons and tactical devices. The scale and diversity of the seized materials highlight the significant threat posed by the trafficking network, which had the potential to supply various hostile elements in the region.
The suspect was apprehended at the site and, along with the confiscated weapons and equipment, was transferred to Israeli security authorities for further investigation and handling. The Israeli security forces emphasized that such operations are crucial in preventing the spread of illegal arms, which can endanger both military personnel and civilian populations.
Security officials reiterated their commitment to continuing proactive counterterrorism efforts and weapons seizures across Judea and Samaria (the West Bank) in order to protect Israeli citizens and undermine the operational capabilities of terror-affiliated elements.
Photographs documenting the seized materials and the raid were released by the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, underscoring the scope of the cache and the success of the mission.
