With suspicion increasing that Rabbi Tzvi Kogan, the Chabad shaliach who operated in the UAE, has been kidnapped or possibly murdered by agents sent by Iran, some people are asking whether Iran would ever formally announce responsibility for such an act.

According to Kann 11 reporter Roi Kais, there will never be such a formal announcement or admission, as such an act would be an admission of violating the sovereignty of the UAE, something which would worsen Iran's relations not only with the UAE but also other Gulf states, relations which are already on the rocks.
