FPM Naftali Bennett Vows to Designate Qatar as Enemy State After Re-elected 

 Bennett accusd the Gulf nation of funding Hamas terrorism and operating a global influence campaign against Israel.

Addressing the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) conference on Monday, The Israeli former prime minister Naftali Bennett committed to officially classifying Qatar as a hostile nation if he returns to office.

Bennett launched a sharp critique against the Gulf state's international operations and financial system links to several militant groups, especially Hamas.

Focus on Terrorism

"If I am prime minister, I will immediately declare Qatar an enemy state", Bennett stated during his panel. He defined the country as a primary financial engine for Islamic terrorism, holding its leadership accountable for sustained backing of Hamas prior to and following Hamas October 7th massacre.

Global Influence Network

Bennett highlighted Qatar’s state-backed media infrastructure, specifically targeting Al Jazeera for disseminating antisemitic messaging and advancing Hamas narrative strategy to isolate Israel internationally.

He asserted that any official state inquiry into the October 7 intelligence failures would identify Qatar as a hostile actor intent on damaging Israel, adding that his future administration would realign diplomatic and security policy accordingly.
