Addressing the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) conference on Monday, The Israeli former prime minister Naftali Bennett committed to officially classifying Qatar as a hostile nation if he returns to office.
Bennett launched a sharp critique against the Gulf state's international operations and financial system links to several militant groups, especially Hamas.
Focus on Terrorism
"If I am prime minister, I will immediately declare Qatar an enemy state", Bennett stated during his panel. He defined the country as a primary financial engine for Islamic terrorism, holding its leadership accountable for sustained backing of Hamas prior to and following Hamas October 7th massacre.
