Florida Man Arrested in Texas for Death Threats Against Jewish Conservative Media Personalities
Swift Action by Florida AG Thwarts Targeted Online Threats Against Pro-Trump Figures

In a chilling escalation of online hate, Florida authorities have arrested 28-year-old Nicholas Ray from Spring, Texas, following credible death threats targeting prominent Jewish and pro-Israel conservative media figures. The individuals named in the threats, Laura Loomer, Seth Dillon, and Josh Hammer, all reside in Florida and are known for their pro-Trump, conservative viewpoints. Attorney General James Uthmeier’s office acted decisively, securing an arrest warrant and ensuring Ray’s custody, with extradition to Florida pending.
The ordeal began over the past week when Laura Loomer, a outspoken conservative commentator, reported receiving targeted threats via X.
Loomer disclosed her ongoing communication with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) regarding these credible threats, which also endangered fellow conservatives Seth Dillon of The Babylon Bee and Josh Hammer.
Loomer linked her targeting to false accusations of being a "foreign agent," suggesting this narrative radicalized Ray, who operated under the X handle "ZionistAreScum."
Now Ray faces charges of extortion, written threats to kill, and unlawful use of a two-way communication device. Ray is currently in custody in Texas and will be extradited to Florida for prosecution.
Loomer expressed gratitude to Uthmeier and the FDLE for their diligent response, emphasizing the targeted nature of the threats against Jewish conservatives in Florida.
Seth Dillon, in a follow-up post, thanked the Attorney General, while other figures like Robby Starbuck and Rep. Fine praised the swift justice.
