Additionally, Lebanese media reported this evening that a Hezbollah operative was killed in an Israeli airstrike conducted by IDF forces in southern Lebanon. This was in response to the attempted infiltration by four members of the Islamic Jihad into Israeli territory.

At the same time, a force of the Metilan unit from the Border Guard which was a driving force in the southern sector acted in light of a report received about the presence of terrorists on axis 34 near the Shaar Hanegev intersection. After the suspicion that it was an IDF force was disproved, the Border Gaurd fighters returned fire and eliminated the terrorists.
