IDF forces have now (Tuesday) completed the operational activity to counter terrorism in the Tulkarm refugee camp in the Menashe region, in which forces from the Haruv Unit, the Duchifat Battalion, the Duvdevan Reserve Unit, Engineering, the Shin Bet, and the Special Forces participated under the command of the Kfir Brigade. According to the IDF spokesman, the operation lasted about 15 hours, during which the forces uncovered explosives, eliminated terrorists, interrogated suspects, and searched many buildings.
Among other things, engineering forces operating in the camp uncovered dozens of ready-to-use explosives, which were planted under and on the side of the roads to attack IDF forces. During the operation, the fighters hit terrorists armed with weapons and explosives.
