In Response to the Shooting at Shtula: The IDF Attacks in Lebanon

For the third time today, after earlier today the Hezbollah terrorist organization fired at Shtula and Even Menachem, and the IDF responded with artillery fire in Lebanon.

For the third time today (Thursday) and after earlier today the terrorist organization Hezbollah fired at Shtula and Even Menachem, the IDF responded with artillery fire in Lebanon. Hezbollah's fire fell in an open area with no casualties.

An IDF spokesperson stated: "Following the alert that was activated in the Shtula and Even Menachem area, several missiles were identified that crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory and apparently landed in an open area. In addition, terrorists launched an anti-tank missile at an IDF post in the Dovev area. There are no casualties. IDF forces are now attacking Lebanon with artillery fire."

Earlier today, IDF forces attacked a terrorist cell in Lebanese territory that tried to launch anti-tank missiles at Israeli territory. Also, terrorists carried out several launches towards the Misgav area and towards the IDF posts in the Metula and Petah areas. There were no casualties. In response, the IDF forces attacked the sources of the fire with artillery fire.
