"Do not stop the war" - Bereaved families against refusal to serve or stopping the war

Family members of fallen soldiers in Israel's wars and terrorist activities strongly oppose recent calls for refusal to serve and stopping the war. According to these families: "The achievements are many, but the mission is not yet complete - do not stop, continue and win the war."

Over 1000 bereaved family members are speaking out against refusal letters and stopping the war: "Stopping the war - a severe danger to Israel's security."

Bereaved families from Operation Iron Swords, previous wars, and terrorist acts sharply criticize calls for refusal to serve and stopping the war.

In a letter signed by over 1000 family members of fallen soldiers, they emphasized that the war must not be stopped before fully achieving all its objectives - returning the hostages, eliminating the enemy, and ensuring that Gaza no longer poses a threat to the State of Israel.

Behind the letter are bereaved families from the Heroism Forum, which includes hundreds of families of soldiers who fell in Operation Iron Swords, joined by other bereaved families including relatives of Nova festival victims, families of soldiers killed in Operation Protective Edge and other wars, as well as victims of terrorist attacks.

The letter signed by the families states, "About a year and a half ago, a cruel, bitter, and dangerous enemy embarked on a journey of murder, rape, and slaughter of our people. Children, men, women, and infants were raped, slaughtered, burned, kidnapped, and subjected to a terrible massacre that the people of Israel have not experienced since the horrific Holocaust in Europe. Immediately afterward, we went to war for our existence, a war forced upon us, a war that could not be more just - a war to return our kidnapped brothers and sisters and to restore security in the south, north, and all parts of our country. Hundreds of thousands left their homes and families and all went together to ensure that never again, and that the citizens of Israel will never face the danger of another massacre. The achievements are many, but the mission is not yet complete. Stopping the war now - means a serious danger to Israel's security, and a countdown to the next massacre, God forbid."

"The war must not be stopped before fully achieving all its objectives - returning the hostages, eliminating the enemy, and ensuring that Gaza no longer poses a threat to the State of Israel. Our loved ones went to war for victory, for security, and did not return, and we will insist that their testament be fulfilled," they wrote.

Finally, they sent encouragement to the government and its leader: "We strengthen the government of Israel and its leader - do not stop, continue and win the war," added the families of the fallen.
