Houthis: We are imposing an aerial blockade on Israel
Following its successful missile attack against the perimeter of Ben Gurion Airport's perimeter, the spokesperson for the Houthis said that they now aim to cut Israel off from any air travel to and from the country.

Yahya Saree, military spokesperson for the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist army, just announced today (Sunday) that the Houthis would be imposing an "aerial blockade" against Israel, with the aim of shutting down all air traffic, in response to Israel's escalation of operations in the Gaza Strip.
Saree made this statement following the successful launch of what they called a "hypersonic" missile, and what Israel calls a normal ballistic missile, at Israel's main terminal at Ben Gurion airport, which struck the perimeter of the airport and lightly injured a number of people.
According to the IDF, a "technical" failure in the Arrow 3 interceptor prevented it from stopping the missile, and the American THAAD system simply missed it. The failure to stop the missile was reportedly not the fault of the missile battery or the soldiers operating it.
Prime Minister Netanyahu said that Israel would respond to the Houthi attack, though he warned there was no way to stop the Houthis with a "zbang" or one and done attack. He also openly agreed with Trump that Iran was ultimately responsible for the missile launches and must be made to pay for the missile attacks.
