Chaos in Central Command: hundreds of settlers physically blocked the transfer of an armored jeep to the PA’s security forces in Shchem, after receiving a report that the vehicle was freely making its way along Road 60.
With a few minutes’ warning, hundreds of residents rushed to the road and sat there, using their cars the continued movement of the armored vehicle being delivered by trailer. The first solders called up to the area at first refused to stop the armored car, but shortly afterwards it turned out that its transfer had not been coordinated with the defense establishment.
Due to heavy pressure and the ongoing blockade by the residents who refused to leave until the vehicle was impounded, the IDF arrested the Arabs taking away the armored vehicle. At the same time, other IDF soldiers got on the trailer and announced that it was now being taken to the Binyamin regional brigade.
