Good News for Evacuees: Rav Kav Benefit has been Extended Until the end of the Year

The Ministry of Transportation decided on the extension of the Rav Kav benefit until the end of the year for the evacuees from the South and North. This is a value of 610 NIS per ticket.

The Ministry of Transportation announced today (Thursday) that the free Rav Kav benefit for the evacuees has been extended until the end of the year.

The Ministry of Transportation states that this is a benefit value of 610 NIS per ticket, while during the month of December the possibility of extending the benefit for another month will be examined depending on the situation.

According to them, the free Rav Kav charging service has been operating since the 23rd of October for all evacuees, and now it will continue until the end of the year. The evacuees can exercise their entitlement at special service points of the National Authority for Public Transportation at the evacuee centers and hotels. Representatives of the Ministry of Transportation arrive at the residents' evacuation centers, both proactively and by prior arrangement.

It should be noted that the Rav Kav tickets given to evacuees for free are in addition to the free transportation service operated by the Ministry of Transportation, which allows them to make trips to hospitals, outpatient clinics, health clinics, shopping, and special transportation for those with mobility difficulties. It was also reported that last week the finance committee approved an additional budget to the ministry's military activities, in the amount of approximately 90 million NIS.
