Battle in Samaria: 4 Terrorists were Killed, and an Officer was Moderately Injured

During a counter-terrorism operation in the village of Azzun in Samaria, IDF soldiers killed 4 terrorists. An officer was moderately injured and 7 Palestinians were arrested. Since the beginning of the war, over 2,550 wanted persons have been arrested.

IDF reserve fighters killed (between Monday and Tuesday) four armed terrorists who barricaded themselves in a house during an operation in Kfar Azzun under the command of the Ephraim Brigade.

According to the statement of the IDF spokesman, during a counter-terrorism operation by the IDF forces from the 8211 reserve battalion in Kfar Azzun under the command of the Ephraim Brigade, terrorists shot and threw explosives at our forces, the fighters identified the building where the terrorist squad was hiding and at the end of an exchange of fire, they killed the four terrorists and confiscated three "Carlo" type weapons used by them.

During the exchange of fire, an IDF reserve officer was moderately injured, the soldier was taken to a hospital for medical treatment and his family was informed.

1,300 Hamas operatives have been arrested in Judea and Samaria since the beginning of the fighting

In addition, the IDF states that during another operation to locate weapons in the city of Qalqilya, reservists were neutralized by fire from a terrorist who fired a gun at them, there were no injuries to our forces. It was also reported that the forces confiscated the gun used by the terrorists.

Also, soldiers of the IDF, the Shin Bet, and the Border Police arrested seven wanted persons throughout Judea and Samaria. The wanted persons who were arrested and the weapons confiscated were transferred to the security forces for further treatment.

So far, since the beginning of the war, more than 2,550 wanted persons have been arrested throughout the Judea and Samaria Division, approximately 1,300 of whom are associated with the terrorist organization Hamas.
