Close Quarter Sniping: IDF Paratroopers Increase the Pressure | Watch

A paratroop force raided the al-Amal neighborhood in Khan Yunis, one of Hamas' terror bastions. The soldiers discovered a great deal of weaponry, dozens of infrastructures, and a safe with 3 million NIS.

The IDF announced a short time ago (Sunday) that forces of the Paratroop Brigade combat team continue to fight in the Khan Yunis area. During the past few days, the army stated that the soldiers have deepened control of the al-Amal neighborhood in west Khan Yunis, considered to be a Hamas terror bastion.

The soldiers discovered a great deal of weapons in the neighborhood, dozens of Hamas terror infrastructures, underground shafts, observation positions, and locations for manufacturing different kinds of weapons.

It was also reported that during their advance, the soldiers identified a number of terrorist squads’ attempts to fire at or lay bombs for IDF forces. The Paratroopers eliminated the terrorists in close quarters combat, sniper fire, mortar fire, and guided aircraft attacks.

In addition, IDF forces followed intelligence leads to raid safes belonging to the Hamas terror organization and the organization’s money changing office, where more than 3 million NIS serving to fund terror was found. Intelligence documents belonging to Hamas were also found.
