AFP has determined that 101 living hostages still remain in Hamas captivity, based on Israeli media and conversations with relatives.
Of these, 91 are Israeli or Israelis with dual citizenship. Eight are Thai, one is Nepali, and one is French-Mexican.
At least fourteen women are still being held captive, five of whom were actively serving in the IDF during October 7.
At least 85 men are still being held, some of whom are IDF soldiers and some of whom are in their seventies and eighties.
Over half of the original hostages taken by Hamas have either been freed or determined to have been killed.
