A coalition in crisis: Ben Gvir denies Netanyahu majority for passing laws
Due to Ben Gvir's refusal to pass the "Rabbi's Law" and Shas' anger at Ben Gvir for doing so - the coalition lacks the majority

Netanyahu's coalition woes continue today (Tuesday) as the crisis appears to be escalating.
Yesterday, Prime Minister Netanyahu cancelled the meeting he planned with National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir due to the latter's refusal to vote for the "Rabbi's Law" unless he was brought in to the limited cabinet.
Subsequently, the Shas party which advanced the law left the Knesset plenum after it became clear that there was no majority for the law in the first vote.
As of now, the coalition has no majority in the Knesset, and journalist Michael Shemesh says that the coalition is no searching for laws supported by the opposition to broadcast "business as usual" meantime.
