During the night (between Sunday and Monday), the Israeli Air Force intercepted four UAVs that were making their way from the east.

"Two vessels were intercepted before they crossed into Israeli territory. Alerts were activated according to policy," the IDF Spokesperson's Office said.

The pro-Iranian militias in Iraq claimed responsibility for the launches, and in four separate statements tonight announced that they had attacked a "vital target" in Israeli territory. The first statement stated that a "vital target in the southern occupied territories was attacked by a drone" in response to the war in Gaza.

In the second statement, they announced that they had attacked "a vital target in the northern occupied territories, using drones." The third was written about attacking "a vital target in the northern occupied territories for the second time, using unmanned aerial vehicles"; The fourth statement said the terrorists attacked "for the second time a vital target in the southern occupied territories, using drones."
