The IDF and the Shin Bet discovered and confiscated a huge amount of Iranian arms, which were headed to terror cells in the West Bank.

Israeli security forces have intercepted a significant cache of Iranian-supplied weapons destined for terrorist groups in the West Bank, according to a joint statement from the Shin Bet security service and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

The sophisticated weapons cache, discovered near Jenin, included rockets, high-powered explosives, and advanced sniper rifles. Intelligence officials later uncovered a second location where the bulk of the shipment had been buried.

The operation exposed a direct supply line from Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps' Unit 4000, headed by Javad Ghafari, working in conjunction with the Quds Force Special Operations Unit 840 in Syria, led by Asghar Baqeri.

Among the seized arsenal were:

- 40 military-grade Claymore mines with detonators

- 33 improvised Claymore devices

- Wireless detonation systems

- Multiple rocket launchers, including 6 RPG-7s

- 27 assorted rockets, including 107mm rockets and RPG-18/22 models

- Mortar systems with ammunition

- Advanced sniper rifles and assault weapons

Security officials report this seizure is part of a broader Iranian effort to destabilize the region by arming militant cells in the West Bank. Recent months have seen an uptick in Iranian attempts to smuggle advanced weaponry into Israeli territory.

"These weapons were intended to carry out attacks against both Israeli civilians and military personnel," a senior security official stated. "We will continue to monitor and prevent any Iranian attempts to introduce weapons into the region."
