The Shocking Letter Keith Segal Was Forced to Write to Hamas

EXPOSED: Hamas Forced Hostage to ‘Thank’ His Captors—As Keith Segal’s Letter Reveals Terror Tactics

In a shocking display of psychological manipulation, Hamas recently published a letter allegedly written by Keith Segal, who was released from captivity just days ago. This letter, dictated by his captors, forced Segal to "thank" Hamas for what they claimed was their concern for his well-being during his captivity in Gaza—a chilling attempt by the terrorist organization to rewrite the narrative and further torment the hostages.

The letter, written in Hebrew, was released by Hamas and accompanied by a translation into Arabic. In it, Segal appears to express gratitude to his captors for their care, which is believed to be nothing more than a cruel tactic to manipulate the public narrative and humiliate the hostages. The letter describes in detail the so-called “care” he allegedly received, including food, medications, and medical attention, as dictated by his captors.

The text states: "I was a prisoner in Gaza. The guards who watched over me during the period took care of all my needs: food and drink, medications, vitamins, eye drops, a blood pressure monitor, and more. They also ensured that I saw a doctor when I felt unwell for an extended period."

It continues: “They considered my needs and responded to my requests regarding nutrition, eating methods, and more. They provided me with food that suits my health needs (sprouted food and oil-based dishes). I received good treatment from the guards."

This so-called "thank you" letter was then used by Hamas to criticize the Israeli government for not doing more to negotiate the hostages' release. The letter concludes with a statement attacking the government, accusing them of failing to reach an agreement to end the war and return the hostages, a narrative that Hamas clearly sought to exploit for their own purposes.

In response to the release of the letter, Segal's family condemned the exploitation, calling it a direct example of the "cruel and cynical conduct" of Hamas. "The Hamas captors who held Keith forced him to write them a detailed thank-you letter. This is one of many examples of the cruel and cynical conduct of the Hamas terrorist organization and the urgency of bringing all the captives back home," Segal’s family said.

Keith Segal’s ordeal was marked by severe psychological abuse, and this forced letter stands as a testament to the lengths Hamas will go to in their ongoing efforts to control the narrative and continue their terror. Segal’s family and supporters are resolute in their calls for the immediate return of all hostages and an end to Hamas' manipulation tactics.
