BREAKING! Israeli Special Forces and Mossad Operatives Are On the Ground in Iran
Explosive Saudi and Arab media reports claim Israeli Mossad and Special Forces conducted high-stakes ground operations inside Iran last night. Is the war shifting to a new phase?

In what would be the most daring escalation of Operation Roaring Lion to date, regional Arab media outlets are reporting that Israeli ground forces operated inside Iranian territory last night. While the world has focused on the rain of "stand-in" munitions falling on Tehran, these reports suggest that the war has already crossed the threshold into direct, face-to-face engagement.
While the primary campaign remains an aerial one, these outlets are highlighting three key sources for the ground-operation reports:
1. Al Arabiya and Al Hadath
These Saudi-owned channels have been the most active in reporting "extraordinary movements" within Iran. They cited sources claiming that Israeli Sayeret Matkal or Shaldag units, along with Mossad operatives, were inserted via stealth helicopters into the Isfahan and Tehran provinces last night. The reported objective was to "manually" disable hardened targets at the Natanz enrichment site and retrieve sensitive documents from the Ministry of Intelligence.
2. Sky News Arabia
The UAE-based outlet reported on March 2–3 that "non-Iranian ground elements" were identified by local sources near IRGC command centers in Kermanshah (Western Iran). They suggest these teams are working in tandem with the Iranian Kurdish opposition (PDKI), who are reportedly crossing the border from Iraq to exploit the chaos created by the airstrikes.
Strategic Air Superiority: The Green Light
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed that IAF jets are now dropping munitions directly over their targets in Tehran for the first time, implying that air defenses are sufficiently suppressed to allow for low-flying transport or extraction missions.
The timing of these reports aligns perfectly with a major announcement from Washington. U.S. Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Dan Caine confirmed yesterday that "local air superiority has been established" over western Iran and the capital.
With the IRGC’s S-300 and S-400 batteries largely neutralized, the path has been cleared for stealth helicopters and extraction teams to operate with a degree of freedom previously thought impossible.
Washington Refuses to Rule Out "Boots"
The reports are gaining further weight following a press conference by U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. When asked if the U.S. currently has "boots on the ground," Hegseth refused to give a definitive "no," stating, "We’re not going to go into the exercise of what we will or will not do... We'll go as far as we need to go."
Oded Eilam, former senior Mossad official:
"I estimate that the 6 Americans were killed on Iranian soil. Ground operations are being carried out there, primarily by the Americans."
Ground Operations in Lebanon
While ground ops in Iran remain "unconfirmed reports," the IDF has officially confirmed (via Israel Katz and 91st Division reports) that ground forces have crossed into Southern Lebanon to seize dominant terrain.
