After the car explosion yesterday (Sunday) in Moshav Hatzav in the south where one person was killed and the police chased after the suspects, a special task force established by the Central District Commander, Superintendent Avi Biton, carried out a targeted operational activity during the night in the Jawarish neighborhood in the city of Ramla, in which a suspect who shot at the police was neutralized.

As a result of the shooting, Ramla policemen, Police Special Patrol Unit, and Border Police fighters neutralized a resident of Jawarish, on suspicion of shooting at the policemen, when, according to medical sources, he went to the medical center on his own in a serious condition.

According to the suspicion, the shooting at the policemen is against the backdrop of a shooting and neutralization carried out by detectives of the regional unit - center earlier yesterday evening, at 2 residents of Jawarish, who are suspected of a car explosion near Hatzav, in which the resident of the south was killed.

The district commander, Major General Avi Biton, held a special situation assessment in the district, in which he emphasized that any attempt to harm the policemen will be met with full force and the policemen receive full backing and permission to open fire and neutralize anyone who dares to shoot at our forces.
