Hamas issued a statement claiming it remains committed to a ceasefire agreement—so long as Israel does the same. However, Hamas simultaneously accused Israel of failing to uphold its end of the deal, blaming it for any delays or changes to the ceasefire terms.

"Hamas adheres to the ceasefire agreement as long as Israel does," the terror group said, hypocritically deflecting responsibility.

"Israel is the one failing to meet its commitments and therefore bears responsibility for any delay or deviation from the agreement."

The statement further rejected any plans to relocate Palestinians from Gaza, calling such proposals a "failed attempt" and vowing resistance.

"What Israel could not achieve through aggression and massacres, it will not accomplish through plans to erase the Palestinian cause and force displacement," Hamas declared, signaling continued hostility rather than any path toward peace.

Hamas Attacks Trump and Egypt Pushes Back Against Gaza Resettlement

Hamas also launched an attack on U.S. President Donald Trump, condemning his remarks regarding a possible Palestinian resettlement initiative.

"We reaffirm our opposition to President Trump’s statements about removing our people from Gaza under the pretense of reconstruction," Hamas declared, calling his words "racist" and an attempt to erase the Palestinian national identity.

Meanwhile, Egyptian sources told Al-Arabiya that Egypt remains firm in rejecting any resettlement of Gazans outside the strip.

Cairo has reportedly made it clear to Washington that it will not allocate land for such purposes, closing the door on any such discussions.

Furthermore, Egypt has postponed President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi’s visit to the U.S. indefinitely, signaling its frustration with Washington’s handling of the situation.

Sources added that Egypt has two alternative plans for Gaza’s reconstruction that do not involve population displacement. In addition, Egyptian officials have sought clarification over Trump's reported threats of sanctions on countries refusing to cooperate with his resettlement proposal.

Hamas’ Ceasefire Deception

Hamas, which has a long history of violating ceasefire agreements while blaming Israel for the consequences, continues to manipulate international narratives. While claiming to be committed to peace, it remains a terrorist organization that refuses to recognize Israel’s right to exist, consistently launching attacks and rejecting diplomatic solutions.
