Trump Doesn't Care About the Midterms or "No Boots on The Ground" Fear Mongering
The regime that began its history by taking American diplomats hostage is now ending its story by taking the entire Iranian population hostage

Why should I fight for America's interests based on public opinion polls or political interests? Because of the midterms?
Why should I take ultimate weapons off the table (Boots on the ground), for political calculations (the midterms), if those are needed (before the midterms), to secure U.S national security interests?.
Those are the pogintant questions that the president asks, and in reply he hears no good answers around him.
Should I refrain from securing what I need because of past traumas, that are associated with boots on the ground and "foreign wars" (as if with a global empire like America the concept of a foreign war, is even relevant)
And so, as American power shifts toward Kharg Island, the juggernaut of Iranian oil exports, the Islamic Republic may lose its lifeblood and what will remain for the IRGC is a desperate, bloody pivot: turning their weapons toward their own citizens.
By thereatning to cut off the regime’s economic oxygen, Trump has delivered a final, brutal ultimatum.
Zero Fear of Midterms: The political calendar is irrelevant to the strategic goal.
Ignoring the Opposition: Both the left-wing critics and right-wing skeptics are being treated as background noise.
Security = Economy: American national security interests are merged with American global economic interests.
If the global energy flow is threatened, the source of that threat will be dismantled.
And the president doesn't mind sending in the troops to make it happen.
The ultimatum is simple: Give up the nukes, scrap the ballistic missiles, and guarantee freedom of navigation. In exchange? You get to keep your seats at the table.
If they refuse, Trump is betting on a "market correction" of the most violent kind. By reducing the regime to "a crust of bread," he is forcing the Iranian people to make a choice facing a weaker and more desperate regime.
Thus, the regime that began its history by taking American diplomats hostage is now ending its story by taking the entire Iranian population hostage.
But here is where the gamble gets dangerous. When a regime has nothing left to sell but fear, it will start murdering its own people to stay alive.
Even if Trump cares little about PR, Polls, or midterms when it comes to securing America's interests, the prospect of millions of Iranians dying in a civil war can hurt something truly meaningful to him - his very legacy as a peace and deal maker.
Trump knows this. He is hoping that the internal pressure will break the IRGC before the IRGC breaks the people.
And also must have some plan B. In place.
For years, the Iranian people have looked to the West for a sign that the "Global Empire" wouldn't leave them to rot under the boot of the Mullahs. Trump has provided the external pressure, but now the trade is reversing.
While the Iranian people once received help from Trump’s "Maximum Pressure," we are now entering the phase where Trump needs help from the Iranian street to prevent a very extreme scenario.
This is the ultimate "merger." If the Iranian people rise as the economy vanishes, they provide the "boots on the ground" that no American president wants to send. But this must be done without the risk of a further massive massacre.
